The Water Damage Cleanup Process

1. Water Damage Inspection

First, we respond quickly with a full inspection and damage assessment. We identify affected areas and items using professional moisture detection equipment. We determine what materials and content are wet and to what extent. We also document humidity levels and temperature. Unaffected items and materials will be protected and moved to a non-damaged area to prevent secondary damage to these items.

2. Water Removal & Extraction

Now that we know where the moisture has traveled, we’ll begin removing the bulk water from the structure via water extraction. We’ll utilize our truck-mounted water removal equipment to eliminate standing water from hard surfaces and carpets. We carry a large inventory of extraction tools, from trash pumps to weighted extraction tools. Our equipment allows up to remove the water quickly to help prevent any additional or secondary damage.

3. Cleaning & Sanitation

We are trained to identify whether or not water is contaminated. If needed, we will flush the areas with water, and at times we will apply an anti-microbial agent. Anti-microbial agents are used to deodorizing, sanitize, and prevent mold growth.
